There are several hotels in the area where you will be boarding the barge, Raymonde. One of the closest ones to the docks is Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel. This is a 4 star hotel averaging around $250 per night. There are many other hotels in the area that are similarly priced, some that are less expensive and several that are more expensive.

Plan on boarding the Raymonde barge at 6 pm on June 12. The dock location is Quai Grenelle. Taxi drivers in the area know this docking station.

Getting Back to Paris from PONT-L’ÉVÊQUE (Oise)

CAUTION

There are 2 towns in France that are both called PONT-L’EVEQUE. The one you want is PONT-L’ÉVÊQUE (Oise), near Noyon. Be sure to have the OISE name after the town. The one you want is NORTH EAST. (The other one you don’t want is North West)

You will be disembarking at PONT-L’ÉVÊQUE (Oise). Here are a couple of options for you.

1. You may choose to stay in the area and explore the wonders of this region. If so, simply look at hotels in PONT-L’ÉVÊQUE (Oise). Most of these are 3 and 4 star hotels ranging in price from $89 – $200 per night. Some links to hotels:

2. Get a train back to Paris or Charles DeGaulle airport. The train station is about a 5 minute taxi ride from where you will disembark. The name of the train station is: Garre de Noyon. (see map below) We will help you make arrangements for a taxi. The train ride back to Paris takes about 1 1/4 – 1 1/2 hours. A car ride is about 2 hours.

A train ride to Charles de Gaulle airport is about 50 minutes on a direct train. (See map below.) NOTE, on this map, Charles de Gaulle airport is located where it says: Roissy-en-France.
