SCHEDULE
The schedule below outlines the various activities and offerings that are included on this retreat. The sequence of these events will be created to support the flow and delivery of the offerings.
Most of you will arrive at Santarena on the first day of the retreat. You’ll have a chance to settle in, swim in the pool, play in the ocean and soak up the beauty of your environment before you indulge in a delectable dinner. After dinner, we’ll have a general introduction to the retreat and an opportunity for participants to begin to get acquainted with each other.
Each morning you may choose to join a Meditation and Yoga session and/or you may take an early morning walk on the beach before having a delicious breakfast.
The sunrises in this area are vibrant and as the ocean and land critters awaken you can feel the energy of life all around you.
Here is the general schedule for the entire week. You will have lots of time to learn amazing and practical information from Lynne and Bryan that you can use to empower and enrich your life as well as ample time for exciting adventures, playful activities, sharing time with others and time to relax and absorb the beauty of this splendid tropical paradise. Keep in mind that the schedule may change to support the overall development of participants.
Day 1
Welcome to Santarena!
2 – 3 pm – Arrival at Santarena Resort
3 – 6 pm – Settle into your tropical space, swim in the pool, play in the ocean, relax and enjoy the peacefulness
6:30 pm –Welcome and introduction by Lynne and Bryan, followed by dinner
Day 2
7 am – Yoga/Meditation Session
8 am – 9 am – Leisurely Breakfast
9:30 am – Noon – Session with Lynne/Bryan
Noon – Lunch
2 pm – 7 pm – Personal Time
7 pm – Dinner
Evening Opportunity
Day 3 Happy New Year’s Eve
7 am – Yoga/Meditation Session
8 am – 9 am – Breakfast
9 am – Noon -Session with Lynne/Bryan
Noon – Lunch
2 pm – 5 pm – Optional Service Project with either the children at the community center La Cepia, or visit the largest labyrinth in the world and pitch in polling some weeds before you walk it. This is an opportunity to give back to the people in Costa Rica and to share our gratitude. If you prefer, this can also be some well deserved personal time.
7 pm – Special New Year’s Eve dinner

Day 4… Happy New Year!!

A day of “Adventures”. This is your day to be with friends and enjoy playing and exploring this splendid
environment. You may wish to explore in a large group or in subgroups that we will help coordinate according to your preferences for activities, or simply be with those you came with. This is the time to discover what truly nourishes you and be with those who choose to be part of that nourishing exploration. One of the most popular choices is to spend the day at Buena Vista where you will get to ride horses, go on a thrilling zip-line, play on water slides, take a mud-bath, hike in the rain-forest, and more. Or, you may select one of the other activities which we will tell you about when you are there. You do not need to decide now, we just want you to know there are several excursions available. These activities are offered at an additional cost.

Personal Time
We recommend you enjoy your time on the beach where on your own you can rent: paddle boards, surf boards, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, mountain bikes, kayaks and more. They also have a fun little restaurant there and they serve very tasty gelato… OR, you may decide to visit Tamarindo, a bustling little surf town with lots of shopping opportunities and beach restaurants.

Day 7
Wrapping things up…
Depending on the timing, we might offer a final morning guided meditation followed by breakfast.
Everyone will have some time to complete with each other and say their good-byes for now.
Transportation to the airport will be provided for all of those who are leaving.
If you wish to extend your stay, let us know and we can support you with the logistics in doing so.

Activities at and near Santarena Resort for Your Adventure Day
In addition to the workshop offerings and other included activities there are several optional activities available at your own cost.
Just a few steps away from your accommodations is the beach and the playful warm waves of the Pacific Ocean. Because Santarena is in a bay, it does not have the dangerous rip tides that are often present on other beaches. As in all ocean settings, it is important to swim safely and always be with a partner. During low tide you can walk along the beach to enjoy the coastal surroundings.
There is a swimming pool for you to enjoy and there are trails available that allow you to explore this tropical area.
If you wish to visit Potrero, the local village nearby, you can take a 30 minute walk to experience some of the local culture, or you can arrange to take a taxi to the village.
We can also help you arrange hourly, half-day and full day tours near the Santarena Resort, including: ocean kayaking, catamaran/sailing, snorkeling, zip-line canopy rides, ATV tours, horse-back riding, visiting a national park, surfing, scuba diving, sport-fishing, river-rafting and more.
When you register, let us know of your interests and we’ll provide you with pricing and schedules or you can wait until you arrive at Santarena and make your decisions then.

This retreat is limited to 40 participants, so register today!
Please note, if you register and then you cancel, there will be NO refunds given under any circumstances, so be sure to obtain proper travel insurance. If we, Global Journeys, need to cancel because of any issues related to but not limited to Covid 19, please note that we will transfer your payments to another Lynne McTaggart event in Costa Rica within the next year. Refunds will not be given, we will only transfer funds to another retreat.

Before you register, email us at info@globalj.org or fill out the form below to make sure there is space available for your accommodations.
Once we confirm availability, follow these two simple steps:
1. Send us a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 per participant via one of the four options below. Half of the remaining balance is due August 29th, 2021. The final payment is due on October 29th, 2021.
2. Wait until you receive an official registration confirmation from us before you book your flight.

On the back of the check, on the endorsement line write- “For Deposit Only”. Take a clear picture of the front and the back of the check, and send both images to either 516 906-2133 or to info@globalj.org After we receive your images and your check clears our bank, we will inform you and you can then write “Deposited” on your check so it doesn’t get used again.

Cancellations and Refunds
If you choose to cancel your participation in this retreat, we will not refund any deposits or subsequent payments regardless of circumstances. Given this policy, we strongly suggest that you purchase travel insurance in case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances that may arise at your end.
Travel insurance will protect your investment in case of unforeseen situations or emergencies. If you choose to purchase travel insurance, which we highly recommend, you must do so on your own. We have been working with Travel Guard International at 800 826-1300, and have received positive feedback.
In the unlikely circumstances that Global Journeys Inc. is forced to cancel this retreat, we will apply your total amount you have paid towards a future retreat with Lynne in Costa Rica. This credit must be used within one year of the beginning date of this present retreat.
If the presenter(s) are not able to attend the event due to a serious illness or emergency, an appropriate substitute chosen by the presenter(s) will deliver the sessions and the retreat will go on as scheduled.
