This graceful, Castle-style chateau was built in 1575 and has three stunningly beautiful towers with impressive turrets. Chateau Montjoie is set in a lovely 5 acre park in the Cevennes mountains, and enjoys the river Luech flowing lazily along its boundaries.

There is a substantial terrace around the chateau which is perfect for dining, and in the beautiful park-style grounds you’ll find a large heated outdoor swimming pool area with cuisine d’ete, a terrace for meals and a changing room.

Chateau Montjoie is within a couple of minute’s walk of a charmingly beautiful village, local shopping, a bar and restaurants. There are also many beautiful walks and drives to enjoy in the surrounding area which is also a haven for food lovers – it’s renowned for its wild boar, chestnuts and mushrooms.

Your investment on this trip is from $2825 – $3275 depending on the accommodations you choose (see below) and includes all the following:

Chateau Montjoie has retained its original family-style ambiance where some of the rooms are joined together to maintain it’s traditional structure.

1st Floor
– Bedroom 1: ($3425 per person double occupancy) This is the premier Marquis bedroom of the castle. It is a beautifully decorated room with a very large private bathroom.
– Bedroom 2: ($3275 single occupancy) A bedroom with 1 single bed that leads into bedroom #3 and shares a hallway bathroom.
– Bedroom 3: ($2875 per person double occupancy) Tower bedroom with a raised double bed and a single bed and shares a hallway bathroom with room #2.
– Bedroom 4: ($3195 per person, double occupancy) A bedroom with 2 single beds with en-suite bathroom.

2nd Floor
– Bedroom 5: (Reserved)

– Bedroom 7: ($2795 per person double occupancy) A bedroom with 1 double bed -This bedroom leads into bedroom #8 and shares a hallway split bathroom.
– Bedroom 8: ($2795 per person double occupancy) Tower bedroom with 2 twin beds – This bedroom leads into bedroom #7 and shares that hallway split bathroom.

Apartment
– Bedroom 9: ($2850 per person double occupancy) A bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 single bed and shares bathroom with bedroom # 10.
– Bedroom 10: ($2850 per person double occupancy) A bedroom with 2 twin beds and shares a bathroom with bedroom. #9.
