How to Easily Secure Your Spot

Step 1: Make Your Deposit

Submit a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 per participant using one of our convenient payment methods listed below. Ensure that half of the remaining balance is settled by July 30, 2025, and the final payment by September 30, 2025. Fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

Step 2 Await Confirmation

Once your deposit has been successfully processed, please hold tight for an official registration confirmation from Global Journeys before finalizing your travel plans. After you secure your bookings, be sure to share the details with us.

Step 3: Prepare for Your Journey

Once confirmed, start planning your travel and get ready for an enriching retreat experience. We’ll send you a suggested packing list.

Cancellation Policy

Retreat Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Global Journeys, we understand that plans can change. However, due to the nature of our retreats, all deposits and subsequent payments are non-refundable. We highly recommend securing travel insurance to protect your investment against unforeseen circumstances. Should Global Journeys need to cancel or reschedule the retreat, you will have the option to apply your payment to a future retreat or receive a full refund. This policy ensures that we can continue to offer empowering travel opportunities to all our participants. 

If the presenter is not able to attend the event due to a serious illness or emergency, an apporpriate substitute will be chosen by the presenter and the retreat will go on as scheduled.

 

Travel Insurance

The Importance of Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is an essential part of planning your retreat with Global Journeys. It provides peace of mind by covering unexpected events such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost luggage. We recommend Travel Guard International, a trusted provider with a strong track record. Contact them at 800 826-1300 to explore your options and ensure your journey is safeguarded.

When you purchase this insurance, please take some time to double check what is covered. Each state has slightly different policies. Be sure that you are getting coverage that includes a refund if the Presenter of the retreat is unavailable to attend if you wish to apply that option.

Remember, investing in travel insurance is investing in a worry-free experience.

Disclosure

Global Journeys Inc. offers various travel opportunities to the general public. Global Journeys Inc., its owners and contracted personnel have taken what they believe to be reasonable precautions to create and conduct safe trips.

As a participant you must recognize that any trip may have inherent dangers including but not limited to your involvement in: flying in commercial airlines over U.S. land, other countries, and ocean waters; travel in vehicles on crowded streets and mountain highways; swimming in swimming pools with no lifeguards, eating and drinking food that may be foreign and different to what you are normally used to; exposure to intense sun and hot and humid conditions; and being exposed to other unpredictable situations that may be incurred in Costa Rica. If you choose to participate in yoga sessions be responsible and move at your own pace. You may be walking through several towns and villages and we ask that you take caution with traffic.

Your decision to participate in this retreat means that you are physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of safely handling this trip to Costa Rica. If you have any suspicion, no matter how slight, that you may have a physical or mental health condition, which may prevent you from participating on this trip safely, it is your responsibility to seek medical treatment or consultation to verify whether you should participate on this trip. Please do not go on this trip if you do not believe you have the appropriate skills or physical/emotional/mental capabilities to safely participate. We recommend highly that you have medical insurance and have your card on the trip, as well as purchase travel insurance for this trip.
