Important Information about tours and visiting sites.

To support the variety of desires and wishes people have regarding visiting sites, we have chosen to not provide guided tours. We will provide transportation to each of the sites we visit and will give you general information on what is available. It is your responsibility to keep within the time frames we set for arrival and departure times to various places. If you prefer to stay longer at any location or you wish to walk at a slower pace, at your own cost we can support you with alternative transportation that will fit your needs.

If you desire to have a guided tour at any time, there are guides available at most sites, or you can pre-arrange them through several websites that are available. If you wish to visit specific museums, cathedrals, etc., tickets are generally available at each site. If you wish to visit any of  the very popular sites such as the Uffizi Gallery or the Accademia in Florence to see David, it is highly recommended that you purchase these tickets prior to your arrival to avoid waitin in very long lines.

Schedule for the week:

A Retreat in TUSCANY

Villa Casa Cornacchi

April 13th – Saturday – Day 1/ We’ll pick you up at the Florence airport  between noon & 3pm and transport you to the villa. Relax in the afternoon and join us for a welcome session and dinner at 7:30 pm. (D)
April 14th – Sunday – Day 2/  We’ll start with an early Yoga session followed by breakfast. Colette will offer a morning session including a fire-bowl ceremony. Lunch is at the villa, and Colette will deliver an exciting afternoon session followed by a community dinner. (B, L, D)
April 15th – Monday – Day 3/ After Yoga and breakfast, we’ll have a brief gathering before departing  to Assisi. Colette will provide a session before entering the Basilica of St. Francis to support you on your journey. Upon completion, there are many churches and sites you may choose to visit and enhance your spiritual experience. You will also include a lunch & self-tour and dinner on your own. (B)
April 16th – Tuesday –Day 4/ Another optional yoga session is available followed by breakfast. Colette will offer morning and afternoon sessions which will include silent walking meditations.  A special Tuscan pizza lunch will be celebrated around noon and upon completing the afternoon,  a community dinner will follow. (B, L, D)

April 17th – Wednesday – Day 5/ Yoga is offered again this morning followed by breakfast. After a brief session with Colette, we’ll depart to San Gimignano where you can enjoy a self-tour as you continue to add to your learnings. We’ll have lunch as a group, and then depart to Siena. While there, Colette will guide you on a ceremony in San Domenico Church and a powerful opportunity to further engage with your personal work at the Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta. The remainder of the day is touring and dinner on your own before returning to the villa.

April 18th – Thursday – Day 6/ Hurray, for people who wish to join the Yoga session followed by breakfast. After a brief gathering led by Colette, you’ll depart for Florence. While there, Colette will guide you on various opportunities to visit amazing churches and cathedrals as well as fabulous historical sites. Enjoy a lunch & tour on your own and we’ll meet as agroup to visit the Piazza Michelangelo. From there, we’ll walk as a group to San Miniato church for further spiritul opportunities and a Gregorian chant offered by the monks. Dinner is on your own. (B)

April 19th – Friday   – Day 7/ Our last full day together begins with a Yoga session and  Breakfast. The remainder of the day is filled with Colette’s presentations, ceremonies, delectable food and a memorable closing session. Our last dinner together will be at the villa. (B, L, D)

April 20th – Saturday – Day 8/ Breakfast and return to
