A Journey to Prague, Vienna and Budapest
September 8th – 16th, 2018
This is a general schedule of what is being offered on this journey. Please note that there may be some changes made to support the flow and quality of the retreat. In addition to exploring these amazing cultural centers, Prague, Vienna and Budapest, you will be attending a classical music concert in each of these cities. Also, Barry Goldstein will be offering a variety of sessions and presentations designed for you to deepen your experience and relationship with classical music. (Barry’s offerings)
You will fly into Prague in the morning of September 8th, 2018. We will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to a hotel that is in the heart of Prague not far from the Opera House. You will stay in Prague for two nights.
Barry Goldstein will present an introductory session where he will begin to share his wisdom of music and will introduce opportunities for you to explore various levels of what classical music has to offer. In this session, Barry will lay important groundwork that will guide you on how to benefit from classical music beyond your normal listening experience. It will include exciting new research, heart opening experiential processes and historical information.
Included as part of your visit to this amazing city is attendance to a classical music concert. You will also be given a ticket that allows you to explore a variety of landmarks and sites throughout the city by using the services of the Hop-On Hop-Off bus company. On the morning of September 10 you will be transported from Prague to Vienna. The comfortable bus ride, using a direct route will be around 3 1/2 hours and we will probably stop for lunch along the way. When we arrive in Vienna, you will be taken to your hotel and after you settle in, you may choose to explore the city at night.
You will spend three nights in Vienna. Barry Goldstein will work with us to continue sharing his knowledge and insights about classical music and its essence. In this session Barry will deepen our understanding and experience of embracing the classical performance in a new and stirring way. He will unveil powerful processes that will guide you on how to literally “Tune Up” your body, mind and spirit to receive the music, it’s intention and the emotions within it in a profound way.
A classical music performance is offered as part of this journey, and you will have plenty of time to visit some really fantastic sites all around the city. You will be given a bus ticket that allows you to visit a variety of well known areas, palaces, parks, theaters, and much more. Moving on…we will leave Vienna on September 13 and head to Budapest, where you will stay for three nights. This road trip will take about 3 1/2 hours, unless it makes sense to stop for lunch along the way. After you settle in at your hotel, you are free to roam this delightful city. There is so much to see here and your Hop-On Hop-Off bus pass, which is included, will allow you to visit a number of splendid sites. Another inclusion on this portion, is a boat ride on the Danube…this should bring some waltz melodies to your mind.
In Budapest you will get to attend your third classical music concert at a gorgeous venue. Barry will again offer a session to take you to a new level of magic that is available through the connection to classical music. In this segment, he will orchestrate how to take the highlights of your listening experience beyond this journey to improve your health and quality of life. Barry will include information on how to implement your own musical program and the important role of your heart in the process. The session will conclude with a moving live performance by Barry as he shares his unique music.
