Sugar Beach Resort is a small boutique hotel with guest suites, rooms and beach houses nestled across a 24-acre beachfront property. With 28 comfortable guest rooms/suites and two beach houses, we can accommodate various tastes, ensuring privacy, intimacy and personalized service.
All of the guest rooms/suites have been designed with your comfort in mind, located just steps from the shores of the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean and the soothing sands of Playa Pan de Azúcar. The resort shares the dry forest with monkeys, iguanas, coatis, raccoons, and the beauty and abundance of Costa Rica’s Natural World.
Some suites and rooms, are set directly on the waterfront with spectacular western ocean views – perfectly poised to take in the searing colors of the setting sun. Listen to the sounds of the howler monkeys and tropical birds from your patio, as the warm salt air wafts around you. Each of the rooms and guest suites are spacious and comfortable and offer large patios and privacy and all have individual characteristics and touches.

GARDEN VIEW ROOMS 12 rooms # 7-18 Located in a spacious garden area, a popular hang out for the Howler monkeys! All of the rooms have 2 Queen-size beds.

OCEAN VIEW ROOMS 4 rooms # 19 & 20 # 21 & 22
These are splendid, spacious rooms with fantastic ocean-front views. All are tastefully decorated and are housed facing the ocean. Each room has two queen beds.

DELUXE ROOMS 6 rooms # 1-6 
The deluxe guest rooms are housed in a beautiful setting, offering partial ocean views and overlooking tropical gardens and the pool. Deluxe rooms are equipped with a king bed and have a sitting area as shown in the photo, and wide double doors leading to a spacious balcony.

MASTER SUITES Three rooms # 31-33
The master suites offer partial ocean views, overlooking the garden and pool from the 2nd floor. These spacious, modern suites have a separate sitting area with a couch, large chair and table, an open air living room, double doors leading on to two private balconies, ample bathroom areas and a king bed.

HONEYMOON MASTER SUITE
One room #29 The honeymoon master suite, located at the south end of the beach, offers added privacy and a poster bed for that extra touch of class. This large second story suite with several long windows faces west, has a wrap around balcony, and has splendid ocean views from the king bed.

BEACH HOUSE 3 BDRM
The beach suite includes a beautiful two-story, three-bedroom oceanfront house that can comfortably accommodate 6 people, located just steps from the water at the heart of the small beach cove. Two of the bedrooms come with two double beds each, and the third bedroom has a queen bed. The colonnaded house is bright and fully appointed with two bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, living room and large upper and lower porches from which to take in the 
panoramic views of the beach, water and Pacific sunsets.

LARGE BEACH HOUSE 5 BDRM
The large beach house is tucked away at the far southern end of Playa Pan de Azúcar, and can comfortably accommodate a group of 10 people. This is ideal for a group of friends who would like to stay together or for large or combined families. Just steps from the water, this secluded Spanish colonial house has five bedrooms and three bathrooms; this includes a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, with both shower and bathtub. The house is fully appointed with a living room, dining area, fully-equipped kitchen, balcony and large patio from which to enjoy the privacy and beauty of the cove, as well as panoramic views of the Pacific sunset.
