Santarena is a splendid boutique hotel on beach-front property with guest suites, premium rooms, deluxe rooms, and classic rooms. With these combinations, we can accommodate various tastes, ensuring privacy, intimacy and personalized service.
In a formal sense, Santarena is an homage to the old mansions of the great coastal cities of Havana and Cartagena, a traditional gem where 
sun-kissed days revolve around blossoming courtyards and lounging on timeless terraces with marveling picturesque archways surrounded by lush greenery and constant views of the sky. Views from our rooftop are incomparable, especially when it is paired with our 35-square-meter pool.
Stylish accommodations and inviting public spaces are seamlessly woven with gracious hospitality to make this the ideal home base, captivating guests with an authentic laid-back warmth throughout.
All of the guest rooms/suites have been designed with your comfort in mind, located just steps from the shores of the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean and the soothing sands of Playa Danta. The resort shares the dry forest with monkeys, iguanas, coatis, raccoons, and the beauty and abundance of Costa Rica’s Natural World.
The rooms at Santarena Hotel are for double occupancy and only have king beds. Therefore, you will be sharing a bed with a spouse, partner, friend or if you are traveling alone, we will assign you a roommate with whom you will share a bed.

Our Corner Suites, totaling 602 square-feet, offer high ceilings and an extended double balcony or terrace, allowing extra natural light to greet you. Enjoy Cuban-style tile floors, a plush king bed, a spacious bedroom with a seating area, and impressive views of both the ocean and mountains. The Suites’ oversized bathrooms, with double sinks, and showers, come fully equipped with seasonal, locally sourced toiletries.

This 344 sq. ft category king room boasts high ceilings and is conveniently located with easy access to common areas. All rooms come fully stocked of locally made toiletries, WiFi, cable, television, air conditioning, fan, and easy access to Calle Ronda.
